by Anjelina Tongco

Deciding on how you’re going to wear your hair for the day can take up a ton of your time in the morning. No matter how long you’ve been styling your own hair, it’s always a struggle thinking about how to style your hair at the beginning of the day, just before you leave your home.

Whether you’re looking for a hairstyle that you can wear to the office or to school, we’ve got you covered. Check out these 3 quick and easy everyday hairstyles you can do with a curling iron. It doesn’t matter which one you have; whether it’s a Babyliss curling wand, a ghd one, or even one from a brand that’s not so well-known.

  1. Swept off to one side

This look is super quick and simple to do. Simply curl your hair how you usually would any other day, sweep it all to one side, and secure it with some bobby pins. You can also use a decorative hair clip to cover up the bobby pins. Lock your ‘do with a generous spritz of hairspray and you’re good to go!

This look is simple but sophisticated and chic. It works for both daytime and nighttime looks, so it’s definitely perfect for busy ladies who spend their days outside from morning ‘til night. Don’t forget to set it with hairspray to make it last even longer!

  1. Half Crown Twist

This hairstyle may look complicated at first glance, but it’s actually one of the easiest hairstyles you can do. Curling your hair prior to doing the half crown twist gives the hair more body and texture which, in turn, makes it look so much more interesting and detailed. You can glam it up by curling your hair with a traditional curling rod or go for a more relaxed look by using a beach waves curling iron

After you’ve curled your hair, take 1 section from the front on each side of your head. Start with one section and separate it into two equal parts then start twisting. You can use a texturizing spray or backcomb your hair a little to give it more texture and create bigger twists. Secure with an elastic and do the same for the other side then bring both twisted sides together at the back of your head and secure with an elastic. You may add a decorative clip to this look as well.

  1. Space buns

Space buns bring a fun and playful vibe to any look! You may be familiar with this look as it’s very popular among kids, but curling your hair before doing the space buns gives it a much more ‘grown-up’ look. It also adds more texture to your buns so they hold their shape better and stay in place better as well.
